Warehousing and Storage

Eagle uses the above facilities to receive, inspect, unpack, reload, and send to its construction sites articles that range from appliances to wood flooring. The most recent contract consisted in eight containers of preassembled closets and cabinets imported from China by the General Contractor for the renovation of the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago, which took six moths in measured deliveries to the site as the work progressed to recent completion.

As an example of Eagle's own use of these operations, Eagle fulfilled its contract to furnish and install appliances and cabinets for the 246 unit State Peace Condominiums in Chicago, receiving at the warehouse large number of appliances and cabinets that were stored for up to 30 days for orderly delivery to the construction site within 15 minutes of its need for vertical transport and installation done by Eagle’s unionized personnel.
